We have a 6 month contract, with potential contract to hire position open for a Citrix Citrix Load Balancer - ACI Fabric Engineer

The work is 100% on-site in Las Vegas

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Citrix Load Balance Administrator/Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the Citrix ADC (formerly NetScaler) load balancing infrastructure to ensure high availability and optimal performance for our organization's applications. You will work closely with other IT teams to deliver reliable application delivery solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Citrix ADC load balancers for various applications and services.
2. Monitor and optimize load balancing configurations to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve network and application delivery issues related to load balancing.
4. Collaborate with application developers and infrastructure teams to gather requirements and implement load balancing solutions.
5. Implement security policies and SSL certificate management for secure application delivery.
6. Automate routine tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual interventions.
7. Perform regular system upgrades and patch management.
8. Document system configurations, procedures, and best practices.
9. Provide on-call support and participate in the resolution of critical incidents.
10. Stay current with industry trends and Citrix technologies to recommend improvements.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2. Citrix ADC certification (e.g., CCP-N or higher) is a plus.
3. Proven experience in Citrix ADC load balancer administration and troubleshooting.
4. Strong knowledge of networking protocols and security principles.
5. Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell) are beneficial.
6. Experience with cloud load balancing solutions (e.g., AWS ELB, Azure Load Balancer) is a plus.
7. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
8. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

ACI Fabric Administrator/Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and motivated ACI Fabric Administrator/Engineer to manage and optimize our Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) environment. The candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining the ACI fabric to ensure a highly scalable, agile, and secure network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and manage Cisco ACI fabrics to support data center networking requirements.
2. Configure and maintain Cisco Nexus switches and fabric extenders within the ACI fabric.
3. Collaborate with network architects and engineers to define network policies and automation scripts using Cisco ACI.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, including connectivity problems, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities.
5. Implement and maintain network security policies, including micro-segmentation and access control policies within the ACI fabric.
6. Monitor and optimize ACI fabric performance and scalability.
7. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of applications and services within the ACI fabric.
8. Automate network provisioning and management tasks to improve efficiency.
9. Keep abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in networking and data center technologies.
10. Provide on-call support and participate in incident response and problem resolution.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2. Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification in Data Center is a plus.
3. Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco ACI fabric administration and troubleshooting.
4. Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including BGP, OSPF, and VXLAN.
5. Experience with network automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible) is highly desirable.
6. Familiarity with software-defined networking (SDN) concepts and technologies.
7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
