Location: 2-3 days onsite supporting a client in the Marrietta, Smyrna, Kennesaw, GA
Must have Terraform, Ansible , PYTHON AND SDN IN THE RESUME TO QUALIFY. High preference is giving to candidates who have Cisco ACI experience (Application Centric Infrastructure)

Network DevOps Automation Developer/ Engineer

NOTES:

• Candidate must have experience with Network Automation Programming
• Candidate must have experience designing, developing, and implementing Network Architecture and Automation
• Candidate must have experience with Python, Ansible and Terraform
• Candidate has to have both Networking and Development experience to be able to be successful in this role.
• Candidate must have strong SDN experience

As a Network Automation Developer, you will be responsible for designing,
developing, and implementing network automation solutions using Python, Ansible, Terraform,
and other relevant technologies.

Your expertise will be crucial in streamlining network
operations, managing standard network gear, and optimizing Cisco ACI deployments. You will
collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions
and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of our customers' network architectures. You will be
assigned to a customer on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities:

• Designs and develops fully autonomous ci/cd pipelines which facilitate the network

• automation for BTA customers

• Python, Ansible, and Terraform to automate network configuration, provisioning, and

• management tasks

• Collaborate with BTA customer network engineering teams to gather requirements and

• design automation solutions that align with business objectives and operational needs.

• Implement network automation for standard network gear, including routers, switches,

• and firewalls, to enhance network efficiency, reliability, and security.

• Design, implement, and maintain network automation solutions specifically tailored for

• Cisco ACI environments, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to network automation scripts, tools, and

• deployments in a timely manner.

• Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in network automation and software defined

• networking (SDN).

• Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate network automation solutions with overall

• infrastructure and systems.

• Create documentation, including technical guides and procedures, to ensure knowledge

• transfer and assist in training BTA customer team members on automation processes.
• Qualifications:

• Experience with Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) and its automation

• aspects.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or

• equivalent work experience.

• Previous experience in networking, IT, or other related fields
• Proven experience in network automation, programming, and scripting using Python,

• Ansible, Terraform, and other relevant tools.

• In-depth understanding of standard network protocols, devices, and configurations.
• Familiarity with researching communication networks
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git for managing codebase.
• Strong knowledge of software-defined networking (SDN) concepts and principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex network automation

• issues.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams

• Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CCIE) and other relevant certifications are a
