Title - Network Engineer (Cisco, EIGRP, BGP, ACI, NGenius One)

Job Location - Hybrid ( Moline , IL , US )

This is a hybrid position. The team is currently working in the client office in Moline, IL, on Tuesdays and some work at least a partial day on Thursdays, the rest of the time at home.

NOTE: W2 only.

Job description - Core responsibilities of this role include providing Tier-III support for enterprise network infrastructure. Tier-III support consists of, but is not limited to the design, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, tuning, and maintenance of Cisco Nexus and ACI equipment consistent with the client's network architecture.

Responsibilities Include

• Work with customers and Telecommunication's team members in the diagnosis and isolation of application performance and network reliability problems
• Development of processes and tools that focus on creating and maintaining accurate and complete documentation of current physical network configuration and architecture
• Participate in the implementation of changes to the information technology infrastructure and business practices
• Support, evaluate and continuously improves the information technology infrastructure and business practices to maintain alignment with business plans

Requirements

• Experience with Network Hub technologies, routing, and Telecommunications services (High)
• Experience in the troubleshooting, design, evaluation and documentation of large-scale networks (medium)
• Solid analytical skills and the desire to gain further experience in evolving technologies (High)
• Hands-on experience with CISCO network equipment and ACI (High)
• Experience with routing protocols: EIGRP, BGP (medium)
• Network Management experience with ACI, NGenius One, and other network analysis tools (medium)
• Systems Administrator experience in a Distributed Computing Environment (medium)
• IPv6 knowledge (low)
• Agile experience.
• Experience with Network Hub technologies, routing, and Telecommunications services
• Experience in the troubleshooting, design, evaluation and documentation of large-scale networks
• Solid analytical skills and the desire to gain further experience in evolving technologies
