Our client is currently seeking a Senior ACI Engineer for Multi-Pod Code Upgrade Location: They need to be onsite in MN between two data centers Shakopee and Arden Hills. looking for an ACI SR Resource for roughly 4 weeks for 10 hours a week doing cut overs on 16-20 leaves. We need a resource who has done at least one ACI upgrade, there are Sunday Cut overs for 4-6 hours. *** they can do flex hours so more hours and less weeks instead of 4 weeks and only 10 hours-find the right candidate see what schedule they are open to and send my way! This job will have the following responsibilities: Plan, design, and execute an ACI code upgrade for a multi-pod multi-datacenter environment. •Help the customer to determine the best version of ACI to migrate to. •Analyze and document the current state of the network and identify potential risks and issues that could arise during the upgrade. •Develop and maintain a detailed project plan and schedule to ensure the timely execution of the code upgrade. •Work with the client to communicate the upgrade plan, manage expectations, and mitigate potential risks or concerns. •Collaborate with the project team to ensure that all stakeholders are aligned on the project scope, timeline, and deliverables. •Conduct testing and validation of the code upgrade in a non-production environment before executing in the production environment. •Lead the execution of the code upgrade, ensuring minimal impact to the network and end-users. •Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the code upgrade and work with the team to identify and implement solutions. •Document and communicate the progress of the upgrade, including any issues or changes that arise during the execution. Qualifications & Requirements: Strong experience in ACI Code Upgrades, with a focus on multi-pod environments. •Strong experience with Cisco ACI, including ACI fabric, ACI Multi-Site, and ACI security policies. •Strong understanding of networking concepts, including VLANs, VXLANs, routing, and switching. •Familiarity with datacenter virtualization technologies. •Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues. •Strong communication and interpersonal skills. •Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. •Cisco ACI certification (CCIE Data Center or CCNP Data Center) is a plus.
