Summary

of Position:The Senior Network Consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and providing configuration and support for ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure), Cisco ISE and Cisco WLC, Cisco APIC. This position will develop and maintain a network infrastructure for the organization’s customers.

Essential Functions:

Work with multiple teams to design and maintain computer network infrastructureDevelop and maintain relationships across functional groups as well as mentor other engineersAct as a technical expert to provide technology/product training, developing documentation and automationDesign, implement, configure, and support ACI, Cisco ISE, Cisco WLC, Cisco APICInteract across support teams, 3rd party vendors, Cisco Sales, Professional Services, Development teams to solve customer issues and improve processesCreate internet domains, increase server capacity to optimize the flow of information, and maintain secure serversPerform installations and resolve network issuesManage office infrastructure expansions, relocations, and establish disaster recovery sitesMeet with the customer and network engineers to discuss networking requirements; responsible for research of the network's performance and securityManage major network-wide upgrades; improve speed and predictability of multicast and order-routing dataMaintain IT infrastructure documentation and analyze, coordinate network documentation with customersPropose and implement the latest technology for increased network productivityCompetencies:Ensures AccountabilityTech SavvyCommunicates EffectivelyValues DifferencesCustomer FocusResourcefulnessDrives ResultsPlans and PrioritizesDecision QualitySelf-DevelopmentWork Environment:This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee in this position frequently communicates with other co-workers/clients who have inquiries about the various projects and other needs. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time. The employee in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operate a computer and office machinery such as a calculator, keyboard, copy machine and printer. Frequently moves boxes with equipment weighing up to 25lbs across the building and/or to other offsite buildings for various project needs.

Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree or five years of equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field5 years of experience

Qualifications:
