About the role:
As a Senior Network Engineer on TQL's IT Infrastructure Team, you will be joining a close-knit group of Network and Server Engineers in a fast paced, high growth environment. Our Senior Network Engineers contribute to the strategic vision, are forward-thinking, and act as lead contributors in the architectural design, planning, testing, deployment, and validation of technology solutions.

What you'll be doing:
- Act as a product owner for our Cisco ACI environment
- Define vision, drive adoption, and manage technical debt
- Manage hardware and software lifecycle, maintain existing deployments and plan for future use-cases
- Identify processes or technologies that can increase operational and business efficiencies
- Provide escalation support for junior network engineers and operations teams
- Manage the implementation of complex technical solutions with minimal oversight
- Ensure optimal network performance and network uptime of 99.99%
- Work within the guidelines of our change management process to conduct appropriate updates
- Document technical builds and configurations
- Participate in outage bridges with a focus of quickly restoring full functionality
- Determine root cause and mitigation/remediation efforts to avoid problem recurrence
- Mentor junior teammates, cultivating strong teamwork and strengthening skill sets
What you need:
- Bachelor's Degree and Cisco ACI Certifications or equivalent amount of relevant experience
- Demonstrate strong expertise in Cisco Data Center, Routing, Switching Technologies
- Experience in data center design, implementation, and support for Cisco Nexus 9K, ACI Leaf & Spine switch fabric with MSO
- Prior migration experience moving virtual and physical servers to ACI
- 5+ years of experience operating as a network engineer in a large enterprise
- Extensive understanding of Layer 2/3 Networks, TCP/IP, IP Addressing Schemes, DHCP options
- Ability to perform and analyze packet captures
- Catalyst 3850, 9200, 9300, 9500, including stacked deployments
- Experience with F5 load balancing, GSLB & DNS configurations
- Strong understanding of routing protocols including OSPF and BGP, Static Routing, NAT
- Experience with WAN and Tunneling protocols - SDWAN, Metro Ethernet, IPSec, EPLS, SSL VPN
- Ability to design redundant and resilient network configurations
- Advanced understanding of network security including 802.1X, NAC, ACLs
- Advanced experience with Palo Alto security suite including HA Firewalls, URL Filtering, SSL Decryption, Prisma Access, and GlobalProtect
- Strong background in proactive monitoring and alerting, including configurations of syslog, SNMP polling & trapping, bandwidth utilization and network baselining
- Demonstrates strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and project-management skills
- Ability to travel as needed - very low travel
