Description

A Philly based company is growing out their Network team and looking to hire a Senior Engineer. This person will define, deploy, and manage their Cisco Network architecture. You will be working heavily with Cisco routers, Cisco switches, Palo Alto firewalls, and load balancers. This environment is a mix of software defined and traditional so you will be working heavily with SDN, specifically Cisco ACI. It is heavy project based doing deployments, upgrades, migrations, and implementations.

In this role, you will also be involved in design and strategy of the network. This company puts an emphasis on technology and are constantly upgrading and migrating to the latest technology versions. This is a great role to grow your strategic planning experience while still staying hands on with the latest network technologies. This position is remote, offers competitive salary, and bonus potential.
Required Skills & Experience

  • At Least 5-7 years' experience with Cisco Network
  • Expertise working with Firewalls, Palo Alto preferred
  • Working expertise with Cisco Nexus Switches and Cisco Routers
  • Experience working with software defined networks and understanding of SDN trends such as Cisco ACI
  • Strong background working with Load Balancers, F5 preferred
  • The ability to maximize network performance by building appropriate automation platforms
  • Experience designing, configuring, and implementing enterprise-class networks
  • The ability to implement Cisco network security policies and devices such as Cisco ISE
  • Network Cloud exposure, configuring VNets, ExpressRoute, and Microsoft peering

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Cisco Certifications, CCNP, CCDA, CCIE
  • Knowledge of Cisco Voice technologies such as Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Voice Gateways
  • Working knowledge of Cisco Wireless, Meraki
  • Experience creating Cisco Network designs

Daily Responsibilities

  • 50% Implementing, Deploying, and Maintaining Enterprise Cisco Network
  • 30% Optimizing and Strategizing Future Network Designs & Roadmaps
  • 20% Individual Complex Network Troubleshooting
