Description
**Senior Engineer**
The Information Systems Engineer designs information systems that are appropriate for users' needs and consistent with the overall design of the organization's information systems architecture. Under limited supervision, this job is responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of the organization's operating systems.
**Key Responsibilities and Duties**
+ Formulates system scope through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems.
+ Evaluates and implements changes to existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary.
+ Reviews flow charts, models, and procedures and feasibility studies to design possible system solutions.
+ Reviews technical documentation to guide system users and to assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of the system.
+ Collaborates with system analysts, engineers, and programmers to design systems and to determine project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements, systems performance standards, and interfaces.
+ Identifies and documents all system constraints, implications and consequences of various proposed system changes.
+ Educates end users on system designs and functionalities through creation of training materials and conducting demos.
+ Evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of application operations and troubleshooting problems.
**Educational Requirements**
+ Bachelor's Degree Required

**QUALIFICATIONS**
**_Required Experience:_**
+ Minimum of 3 years' experience of solid Cisco networking experience focused on Routing and Switching
+ At least 2+ years supporting/troubleshooting Cisco ACI constructs, policy and contracts
+ At least 2+ years of Python programming experience, with emphasis on one or more of; Infrastructure Automation & Scripting, API Scripting & Development, Data Analysis & Visualization, Version Control Software & Workflows
+ Ability to share an on-call rotation and be an escalation contact for service incidents
**Preferred:**
+ Experience with Cisco Tetration (Secure Workload), including Application Dependency Mapping
+ Experience with network automation platforms (ex. Ansible)
+ Experience with migrations of critical network infrastructure
+ Ability to support business critical functions relying on the network infrastructure and monitoring to proactively address situations before they lead to impact
+ Ability to communicate to all levels of internal & external stakeholders
+ Ability to collaborate with other team members
+ Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE R&S, CCIE Datacenter, CCDE, CISSP, GSEC, GIAC or AWS Networking Specialist are desirable.
+ Experience with WAN - some combination of MPLS, DMVPN, SD-WAN, telco circuit management
+ Cisco partner relationship experience
+ Progressive support experience with any of the following are a plus:
+ Cisco's Tetration (Secure Workload) platform
+ F5 Load Balancer and Web Application Firewall
+ Security platforms such as Palo Alto firewalls, Blue Coat Proxies
+ Zscaler ZIA and/or ZPA
+ Linux/Unix or Microsoft Windows Server administrator
+ Network Virtualization with VMWare
+ Datacenter Storage platforms

Base Pay Range: $91,700/yr. - $152,800/yr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
